Every month at our Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild meetings, in addition to a wonderful speaker, we also have Mini- Demonstrations where a guild member shares a new technique, quilting tool or resource that would be of interest to quilters. Below, Sister Barb is telling about the Missouri Star Quilt Company patterns & products and showing a quilt top made using one.
Also, our member "Show and Tell" is always a much anticipated monthly event. Our members have a chance to show what they have been working on throughout the month individually or as a group, or show a quilt they've acquired. Both beginning and more advanced quilters are encouraged to share their project and it's always nice to hear the oohs and ahhs, even applause!! Smiles abound!! Here are a few from last fall!
I'm really intrigued by the 4th one from the top, in my mind I'm calling it confetti, could you tell more about how it was made/put together? Was each "block" quilted and then joined or were all the crazy blocks put together, then sandwiched and quilted.
